Delivery

Delivered workfront by workfront.

External works progress in small, changing areas released by others. Navaroo plans, resources and closes each one as a complete piece of construction, and manages the specialist trades inside the package the same way.

Navaroo crew coordinating concrete placement with plant inside a constrained transport-infrastructure workfront.

Workfront sequence

The sequence on every workfront.

  1. 01

    Confirm the workfront

Verify access, set-out, existing conditions, services, permits, barriers and the condition of work handed over by others.

  2. 02

    Mobilise the right resources

Crew, plant, materials, specialist trades, delivery windows, laydown and temporary access for the stage.

  3. 03

    Build progressively

Formation and preparation first, then pavement, concrete, surfacing, hardscape and landscape in the required sequence.

  4. 04

    Test before covering

Complete inspections, hold points, compaction and concrete tests, material records and surface checks as each lot advances.

  5. 05

    Protect and close

Maintain access, protect finished work, rectify defects, complete records and hand over a finished external works zone.

Can the crew safely build the next layer, prove it complies and hand it over without leaving an interface gap? Every control should serve that outcome.

Workface rhythm

Practical coordination, not paperwork theatre.

  • Daily coordination around access, permits, deliveries, other trades and the next available workfront.
  • Weekly and four-week lookaheads for staged and occupation-driven work.
  • Direct escalation of design gaps, latent conditions, failed existing assets and access constraints.
  • Visible ownership of incomplete work, test failures, protection and defects.

Head contractor interface

What the head contractor gets.

  • Realistic crew and plant deployment for the available area.
  • Early notice when access, approvals or preceding work will block production.
  • Temporary works and make-good that protect programme continuity.
  • Clear evidence of what was built, tested and handed over.

Constrained sites

Conditions we plan for as normal.

Transport infrastructure, stations, schools and public-realm projects where external works must be staged around live users and a complex principal-contractor site.

Rail corridors + occupations

Rail corridors, occupation windows, out-of-hours and night-shift reinstatement.

Live roads + public access

Live roads, public paths, pedestrians and cyclists maintained through staged access.

Tight work zones

Tight work zones, restricted laydown, delivery controls and frequent remobilisation.

Sensitive buried assets

Sensitive buried assets requiring permit lead times, approved plant and vibration controls.

Contaminated or unexpected ground

Contaminated or unexpected ground conditions requiring stop-work, segregation and specialist treatment.

Changing workfronts

Multiple adjoining trades and progressive handovers across small, changing workfronts.

Quality + environment

Built, checked, closed.

The work is not complete when the physical element is finished. It is complete when the inspection, test, environmental and handover evidence closes with it.

Quality evidence

Each layer is inspected and tested before it is covered or handed over.

  • ITPs and lots for pavement bases, managed specialist surfacing, concrete paths, kerbs, signs, line marking, tactiles and landscape works.
  • Material and mix approvals, delivery dockets, certificates and manufacturer information.
  • Compaction, concrete and surface testing through approved laboratories and field records.
  • Pre-pour and pre-cover hold points, progressive photographic evidence and defect close-out.
  • As-built, handover, warranty and maintenance records where required.

Environmental protection

Controls are established with the workfront and maintained through the activity.

  • Dust, sediment, runoff, noise, vibration and waste controls matched to the task and surrounding receptors.
  • Protection of retained vegetation, waterways, public areas and sensitive assets.
  • Segregation, containment and escalation of contaminated or unexpected material.
  • Housekeeping, material storage and progressive rehabilitation that leave the work area controlled.

Tender enquiry

Bring Navaroo in for the external works package.

Send the scope and we will review the workfront, confirm the interfaces between civil, hardscape and landscape, and build a practical site sequence around access, staging, testing and handover.
