Softscape, irrigation + establishment

Soils, planting, irrigation and the establishment obligations that follow — planned with the package, not bolted on at the end.

Established plantings, mulched beds and finished concrete paths in a completed public open space.

Softscape + establishment

The physical conditions plants need to survive on a construction site, and the obligations that follow installation.

  • Cultivation, soil conditioning, imported and site-won soils placed to design depth.
  • Mulch, erosion-control matting on batters and slopes, and protection of prepared surfaces.
  • Trees, shrubs, tubestock, turf, seeding and hydroseeding.
  • Interfaces trimmed to level against paths, kerbs, edging and retained assets.
  • Watering, replacement and defect rectification through the contract maintenance period.

Irrigation

Irrigation only, downstream of the point of connection, installed, tested and commissioned as part of the package.

  • Mainline and lateral pipework, sleeving and conduit under hard surfaces.
  • Solenoid valves, valve boxes and isolation.
  • Controllers, wiring, zone programming and commissioning zone by zone.
  • Pressure testing and flushing before cover.
  • As-built information, controller programming and operating documentation at handover.

Inside the same package

Keeping soils, planting, irrigation and establishment in the same scope as the earthworks and concrete means the levels, drainage falls set by others, protection and maintenance obligations are all planned by one team.

Bring Navaroo in for the external works package.

Send the scope and we will review the workfront, confirm the interfaces between civil, hardscape and landscape, and build a practical site sequence around access, staging, testing and handover.
